The charming and peaceful village of Crantock with its magnificent stretch of golden sands draws people back year after year. It is only a few minutes drive from the popular resort of Newquay with its many bars restaurants and shops, but not so close as to be disturbed by its hustle and bustle.

In the opposite direction a pleasant walk brings you to the hamlet of West Pentire and the Bowgie pub and the Crantock Bay Hotel. From here you can enjoy spectacular views along the coast to Trevose Lighthouse and find easy access to Polly Joke beach.
